Yes, and it seems almost odd that we don’t have an exact Christian equivalent.. I think the nearest we get to thinking in terms of darshan is a pilgrimage.

Such beautiful light. I thought, at first, that it might have been a painting.
Due to the altitude the light in the monastery was often dazzlingly.
