    • Both Mum and Dad were sitting just behind her. Her parents seemed pleased and proud that I wanted to photograph her. As well as being diligently watched and protected, she was obviously very loved.

  3. I don’t see enough watchful parenting round here these days. Too many distracted mobile-wielding adults. The children, even small ones, run ahead down busy roads, far out of reach of a restraining hand.

    • Have you tried the “citizen’s arrest” approach – or confiscating their mobiles..?!
