Neither Use Nor Ornament"Wading neck deep in a swamp, your revolver is neither use nor ornament until you have had time to clean it" Mary H. Kingsley (1897)
Thank you!
Our local beach is just a few hundred yards away – yet I often forget to go and enjoy it.
The abundantly strewn litter detracts just a little from its beauty but otherwise, as a working sea-way, with its steady stream of ships, the Chinese fishing nets, fish markets, vendors and passers-by, the location is an absolute gem. And a never-ending source of photo-opportunities!
I used to walk along the sea-front almost every day, though I’ve have been less mobile for the last two or three years.
But Anu, my house-boy, has a motorbike and is very happy to take me any time I ask him, so in reality I have no real excuse other than laziness and lack of moral fibre!
What a stunning picture. Thank you.

Autumn may not be experienced there, but beautiful sunsets clearly are.

Tropical sunsets are painted with such a riotous palette..

I have seen the fishing nets in operation, via TV of course, they are impressive. I think I should be on the beach every evening if I lived there.
