    • Thank you. I managed to take the picture only through blind chance – literally!

      The sun was dazzlingly bright so that I couldn’t see what was captured on the image until I was back indoors. Wanting the camera’s auto-focus to pick out the dew-bedangled web, rather than a wire fence, grass or distant horizon, I took several shots on different settings then just hoped for the best..

    • Yes, the equivalent of an English September, I suppose. The days were a mix of brilliant sunshine and grey clouds..
