contemplating our journey home.


“Rain stopped play” is a phrase familiar to cricket followers in England, where the climate is reliably unreliable.

    Wall to wall sunshine here, until this morning, but still no rain – just a hosepipe ban.

    • No hosepipe bans here, which is just as well. As soon as the sun rises, young Anu seems to spend at least an hour watering the potted plants and parterre beds, then just hosing down our yard!
