I wonder what they ate. What did you eat? The D├ębussy sounded very disjointed.

    • I’ve no idea what they ate, but we ordered vada with curd, followed by onion oothapams served with coconut chutney and vegetable samba!

Beats a slice of toast every time. Sigh…

    • Rather to my shame, whenever I’m back in England I totally enjoy the full English breakfast which my sister treats me to – while she and my brother-in-law virtuously nibble away on their muesli and fruit.

But a “full English” is just my very occasional treat: there’s enough cholesterol on a single plate so send my coronary arteries running for cover!

I like a Full English too, very infrequently. I simply have to have one when staying in an hotel and it must include a good black pudding.

    • Yes, black pudding too. And damn my coronary arteries!
