You still have pews? How wonderful.

    • The last time I went to Mass in England there were still pews – and that was only eighteen months back..

    • Thank you.
The electrical power went down and suddenly the chapel was filled with new patterns of light and shade.

    • Thanks Glynn.

Nowadays I carry a small camera with me wherever I go, but I don’t like to take photographs during Mass. Fortunately the seminarians were standing in prayer as I entered chapel just before Mass started – so I quickly snapped a picture!
