The last four pictures were all taken on the Hematuka complex of temples – a granite outcrop in the vast abandoned city of Hampi in Karnataka, south India.
These particular temples were built between eleven and seven centuries ago, but Hampi itself has settlements dating back over two thousand years and was still being developed in the sixteenth century AD.
