    I have never been to Paris so have no idea of the scale of the Tour Eiffel. I like engineering though, so found your picture very interesting.

    • Even now it looks pretty impressive!
      I believe the tower was the first man-made structure to exceed the height of the Egyptian pyramids, and remained the world’s tallest “building” until overtaken by the Chrysler tower in Manhattan.
