  2. Rejected indeed. I do like this picture. I’m interested in his dress….bracelets on his wrist, head band, reasonable clothing – he’s not ‘just’ a homeless person, is he?

    • Because temples are such communal areas in which devotees may eat, rest and sleep, I’m never sure how dire their circumstance are.
      Generally I find it impossible to “place” so many of India’s people, but it’s especially true in the temples. The affluent and those in totally crippling poverty can usually be identified but many, such as this man, despite being poor may manage to subsist somehow.
      Maybe he was making a pilgrimage to the tree of wishes
