Stumbling Into Light: Part 10
“Noli me tangere”
Picture taken beside the garden of Kurisumala Monastery
Strange Confluence
A confluence of colour,
________________
Of rivers
_________________
And geometries.
________________
The contrast of light and shade,
________________
A meeting of land and sky,
________________
The occasional harmonies of monks and music,
________________
The fusing of health and safety,
________________
And the fellowship of friends in need.
All were encountered as we travelled on to Darjeeling.

..”Strange friend,” I said, “here is no cause to mourn.”

The hopelessness. Whatever hope is yours,
Was my life also..
From “Strange Meeting” by Wilfred Owen.
